I don't care what you all have to say about me because you all are gonna die anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey you all, here’s a new segment on my page called B.E.T. (broke with expensive taste). Inspired by my favourite musical artist at this moment ( Azealia Banks), I decided that it would be nice to show you all how to achieve a department store look on a drug store budget. So here’s the first installment of B.E.T.. As some of you makeup lovers may or may not know M.a.c ‘s candy yum yum has become an instant classic when they first release it a while back as a part of a limited edition lipstick collection. It was such in high popular demand that they  re-released it as a part of their permanent line. Candy yum yum can be described as a neon bleu toned hyper pink. It is a matte finish lipstick. Unlike most other m.a.c lipsticks that are matte, such as ruby woo, it isn’t as drying. Candy yum yum has a slight sheen which makes it quite enjoyable.
I have 3 dupes for this lipstick. They may or may not be exact dupes according to some, but to me they are pretty darn close.
1. Wet n wild lipstick in don’t blink pink: It is a vivid pink matte lipstick. Only difference between the two is that don’t blink pink has a orange undertone, while candy yum yum has a bleu undertone. It’s a good dupe but not the closest you can get. Retails for $2.99 @ most drugstores.
2. Milani Rose hip: It is a beautiful shade of pink with a bleu undertone. It’s not as neon as candy yum yum, but it can get the job done if need be so. It is also a lot more glossy in Finnish than candy yum yum. It’s a close dupe but my last dupe is by far the closest. Retails for $5-7 @ most drugstores.
3. Maybelline colour sensational “the vivids” fuchsia flash:
This by far is the most closest thing I think you can get to Candy yum yum without buying it. This is the next best thing to get if you don’t wanna spend the $15 on candy yum yum. It’s pretty much the same bright vivid bleu toned hyper pink as its predecessor. It has great pigmentation and comes off pretty opaque in colour. It isn’t matte like candy yum yum but a little bit of your favorite translucent setting powder can make this matte. This is the best dupe for candy yum yum. Retails at about $10 @ most drugstores.
All in all just know that if there is a great product out there, there is a dupe out there as well. And if your like me you’ll be out there looking for it because you are B.E.T..
